Sonobuoy Receiver System

The 502B has 17 acoustic channels, 99-495 RF frequencies, an internal ATSG and an OTPI. Primary control is accomplished through a 1553B or RS-422 data bus. This receiver is designed to satisfy the requirements of both current and future Fixed-Wing Maritime Patrol Aircraft and ship board use.
